my husband and i went out to dinner with his parents. we’re both nonreligious but his parents are christian. i was raised christian and a lot of my family openly prays before eating, etc. so when his parents bowed their heads and prayed before dinner, i automatically put my head down as well, just as a reflex. dakota was so shocked and asked me why i did it,… i said i was just being polite.
