three exams down, three to go.
i think i’ll be finishing this semester with…
so that’s good. :) next semester i’m going for all A’s though.
got my schedule all figured out for next semester. i’ve got almost all of my classes on monday, wednesday, and friday, which is great because a one hour class is a lot earlier to get through than an hour and a half class, even if they’re back to back. i’ll go to school from 9:05am to 2:10pm on monday, wednesday, and friday. i’ll have tuesdays off from school, which means i can be and opener and closer at work on tuesday, which means a lot more money. thursday i have my lab at 8:00am and it gets out at 10:45am at the latest, which still means i can get to work by 11:30am or so on thursday.
so stoked for my schedule for next semester. after this coming semester, i’ll be taking nothing but major classes and electives. i am too excited.
trying to decide if i should take both biology lab and a psychology lab next semester. if i do, it’ll mean i can only take two more classes. i’d probably take history and then some psychology elective. but i just worry it’ll be a lot of work taking two lab classes in the same semester. i’ll just ask my adviser next monday when i see him. that’d be fourteen hours, and i’m taking sixteen hours right now, so it should be fine.
and i’m contemplating taking summer classes so i can graduate a little early. i’d like to graduate in the winter because fewer people graduate during that time of year, which means a shorter graduation and less people at the actual graduation. plus i’d feel pretty cool if i finished school early.
it’s so frustrating when i study for days and get a c and then don’t study at all and make an a. i guess this shows me how to prioritize though… make sure to study for biology and research methods, and it’s okay to skimp out on studying for ethics and social psychology.
i’m in the library on campus and i just heard a guy stumble through the word “controversial.”
i’m loving school so far. it’s still difficult to get focus enough to read through my books, but i’ve been forcing myself to do it. my teachers are all so wonderful because they’re all in love with what they’re teaching about. my ethics teacher is so into everything he’s teaching, so enthralled, so open to furthering his own understanding. it’s awesome. we haven’t gotten too into the psychology part of either of my psychology classes because my teachers have been telling us the details of the research projects i have in both of my classes, but i’m sure once they really get started i’ll be into it. i hate history but i’m going to love my u.s. history class this semester. my professor is probably one of the best teachers i’ve ever had as far as giving information in a way that helps students learn. he’s so vivid when he talks about things that you really can see them in your head as he’s talking. my biology teacher is also really into what she’s talking about, but we haven’t gotten too far into class yet.
i just love my teachers and i think i’m going to learn a lot this semester because my teachers are all so wonderful.
it’s also really cool because there is at least one person i know in every single class i have. i was nervous on the first day because i couldn’t really see anyone in any of my classes that looked familiar. but today i found more people and talked to friends and it was nice.
i’m just really excited for this semester.
